Model Room Development Concept

This page demonstrates a project review framework. It is not a completed hotel project, client case study, production claim, or evidence of a specific facility.

Development path

Use the model room to close decisions before production approval

A clear review baseline helps the owner, designer, purchaser, contractor, and manufacturer work from the same revision.

1. Project Brief

Collect room types, floor plans, elevations, FF&E schedules, brand requirements, budget direction, and target dates.

2. Scope Alignment

Separate standard products, custom products, equipment interfaces, missing information, and responsibilities.

3. Drawing Review

Confirm dimensions, clearances, materials, finishes, hardware, power, plumbing, and installation interfaces.

4. Prototype / Model Room

Review fit, function, finish, service access, and the punch list in a controlled approval process.

5. Production Release

Record the approved drawing revision, finish sample, product schedule, packaging plan, and remaining conditions.

Outputs to record

Keep a traceable approval package

The final package should make the accepted product and remaining responsibilities clear.

  • Approved drawings and revision dates.
  • Approved physical finish and material samples.
  • Confirmed hardware, power, and equipment references.
  • Model-room punch list with owners and closure status.
  • Product schedule, quantities, packaging labels, and delivery assumptions.

Start with your current project documents

Upload the floor plan or FF&E schedule and describe the room count and target delivery window.
